Missouri Professional Development
The Missouri Professional Development (MOPD) system includes a workforce registry, a place to find trainings, and a learning management system to allow professionals to take online trainings. The MOPD system will support all childhood professionals, beginning with child care providers, afterschool professionals, and trainers.

Whole Leadership Resources Book*
MO-SECA participants who complete the “Whole Leadership” training receive a copy of Building Whole Leadership.
iECMH Services
Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation is now available. Childcare professionals in licensed, registered, or regulated programs are eligible to participate. Participants receive social-emotional training, ongoing coaching and mentoring, access to supports, resources, and referrals.

Quality Assurance Report (QAR) Program
Missouri is embarking on a process to develop an early learning quality assurance report. The goal is to provide a continuous quality improvement process for early learning programs and to provide families with consumer education about the quality of early learning programs.
To ensure children have access to the benefits of high-quality early childhood care and education, the Office of Childhood (OOC) is committed to supporting all interested programs in improving the quality of their offerings.

Participating programs receive:
- Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS)®
- One-on-one practice-based coaching
- Access to quality supports and resources
- Fully funded training opportunity for staff who are interested in obtaining a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
All early care and education programs operating in Missouri are eligible to join QAR. Programs will be contacted once space is available to actively begin.

Free Show Me Child Care Resources Membership*
MO-SECA participants receive a membership to Show Me Child Care Resources which provides materials, information, and savings opportunities.
Missouri Child Care Subsidy
According to the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, “the Child Care Subsidy Program increases children’s access to early learning and literacy by assisting eligible parents/guardians with payments for child care in Missouri.
Providers can visit DESE’s website to learn more about how to become a subsidy provider.
Inclusion Services
The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, through the Maternal and Child Health Services Block Grant, provides inclusion referral services, technical assistance, and training throughout the state to help families and caregivers of children with special needs. A child with special needs is a child who may require enhanced child care services over that of a typically developing child due to an actual or perceived developmental disability and/or delay, health/mental health, or behavior issues.
